Subject: Brewer Wanted
Hello everyone... The Auburn Guard is working diligently with an industrial design and engineering firm, a law firm, CPAs, an economist, artists and various suppliers to develop a 5 year business plan, which should be complete in about a month or so.
Our plan follows the model other start-ups have used of contracting for beer production during the facility's design and construction phase, which is initially projected to be around 18 months. During this first phase, we will focus most of our efforts on marketing and the distribution system.
We are seeking a brewer who has appropriate packaging brewery production experience and who also has experience as a packaging brewery sales representative. During the contracting phase, the brewer would primarily assist with the company's critical effort of establishing itself in targeted territories, in order to make transition to in-house production more successful. The brewer would also serve as an important consultant in the company's acquisition of equipment and facility construction, ideally stepping into the head brewer role at the facility's completion.
A more detailed job description and written employment agreement would be developed together with the preferred applicant prior to the completion of the business plan, and the hire date would be based on equity funding benchmarks established in the plan.
Home of Auburn University, Auburn is one of Alabama's more progressive cities. Many who come from all over for degrees end up staying. The area has a rich cultural history, and Auburn City Schools are consistently ranked in the top 100 public school systems in the country. Every football season is a huge, extended celebration, with the population doubling every home game week. Summers are peaceful, and the quality of life here is always superb.
All communications from individuals interested this role will be confidential.
