Bitter or Sweet Orange Peel
Hey all. Just looking for some feedback on a recipe I'm formulating. I am brewing a Saison next friday (the day I'm not going to GABF) and am wondering about using orange peel in my brew. So far I know I am putting in a 1/2oz of cracked peppercorn, 1/2oz of coriander and 4-5oz of fresh ginger root. I was debating about using bitter orange peel before I got to Beer At Home and was told to try a sweet orange peel instead. I have never used sweet orange peel before so I do not know how much to use or what kind of flavors to expect. Also, the last time I made the brew I did not use the bitter orange peel. Any feedback would be fantastic.
