Big Beers, Belgians & Barleywines Homebrew Competition (January 9th)
A friendly reminder to all homebrewers with Big, Belgian or Experimental brews ready to go… It’s time to register and send in your entries! Entries are accepted during the month of December for the January 9, 2009 judging. For more information check out www.BigBeersFestival.com or contact me at BigBeersFestival@hotmail.com. (Remember to allow for holiday shipping issues.)I’m also looking for some brave, bold, fun souls to judge for this amazing, AHA sanctioned BJCP competition. Judging and stewarding garner free admission to all Seminars and the Commercial Tasting on Saturday, including “Brewing Outside the Box: Brewers Gone Wild”, and the “Cheese & Chocolate Challenge: A Global Big Beers Competition”.
As further bribery, presentations will be made by Vinnie Cilurzo of Russian River & Matt Brophy from Flying Dog. as our 2009 Featured Brewmasters, and by Andy Brown of Wynkoop, Casey Hughes of Flying Fish, Nick Ison of Sierra Nevada, and Kristin Zantop of Anheuser-Busch as our Experimental Brewing Panel. The icing on the cake is a new Cicerone Program workshop on Friday morning, presented by Ron Kloth, Master Cicerone, of Papago Brewing.
Thanks to all for your incredible support!

Festival Coordinator
PS. I also need volunteers to help with the Saturday event. Thank you!
