Jim Stinson mentioned at our January meeting that the Rockyard will be brewing a Double Red on January 20 January 22. Further, he has graciously offered to let anyone from the club take a portion of the second runnings (approximately 1.050) for use as a base for homebrew. So, we immediatley thought of a club competition: 23 Rock!This will be a competition among club members to brew a beer using this wort as a base that conforms to BJCP's Category 23: Specialty Beer - so creativity is a must! | ||
