This is the time of the year for big beers, so get ready for our potent HAIR OF THE TONGUE India Pale Ale. Join us this Thursday, November 13th, as we let it flow free in our bar from 6pm to 6:30pm.
Hair of the Tongue is a west-coast style Rye-P-A brewed with Munich and aromatic malts to provide a clean malt base for the truckload of American hops that spice this brew. Simcoe, Chinook, Centennial, Sterling, and Cascade hops give this beer an unmistakable Citrus edge. At 7.0% alcohol-by-volume it also gets your attention quickly. As usual at South Denver, I will be tapping this beer through our Randall, loaded with fresh Whole Simcoe hops. This will let you take the hop experience all the way to the edge! In addition I will be pulling out cask IPA, Nitro IPA, as well as regular IPA through the taps. I made plenty, so come on down and get some hair on your tongue! Start: 11/13/2008 6:30 pm

If you have one or more IPAs ready to go, bring at least 22 ounces of each to share with the group and two 12 ounce bottles (so we don't have to track you down just in case you win).
